Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated April 25, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service. It describes what you may and may not do on Go Participate. Violations can result in warnings, account suspension, or termination.

Don't

  • Harass, threaten, bully, or impersonate any other user — including coaches, parents, players, or league staff. This includes content sent through team messaging, announcements, or any other communication feature.
  • Send unsolicited or commercial messages ("spam") through the messaging features. Team messages must be related to the team's operation; SMS messages must comply with our SMS Terms.
  • Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content. You may only upload content you own or are authorized to share.
  • Share another family's documents or PII outside of the Service's grant system.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or another tenant's data.
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our written permission. Coordinated disclosure: security@goparticipate.com.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or mass-create accounts.
  • Interfere with the Service's operation — including DoS attacks, exploiting bugs, or circumventing rate limits.
  • Misuse the AI features (AI Coach, AI Scout) to generate content that violates this AUP or the rights of others.

Reporting violations

If you see a violation of this AUP, report it to trust@goparticipate.com. Include the content, the user(s) involved, and the team or org context if relevant.

Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion, warn an account, restrict features, suspend an account temporarily, or terminate an account for AUP violations. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent termination.

Draft — review before relying on it. This document is a starter template. Have it reviewed by counsel before launching a production service that depends on its terms.
